Maryland Senator (Ret.) Roger Manno
Senator Roger Manno (Ret.) served as Senate Majority Whip in the Maryland Senate. Senator Manno also chaired both the Spending Affordability Committee and the Administrative, Executive, and Legislative Review (AELR) Committee, spearheading significant reforms to streamline and enhance Maryland’s regulatory framework. He also authored transformative structural reforms that modernized Maryland’s budget forecasting, revenue systems, and baseline spending.
The top vote-getter in the 2006 Primary election for the House of Delegates, Roger defeated a sitting Maryland Senator by 8 points in 2010, and was endorsed by the Washington Post in both competitive Primary and General elections. He served 12 years in the Maryland House and Senate before retiring from elected service in 2019.
Roger currently serves as Principal at the Maryland-DC based lobbying and government relations firm, Manno & Associates LLC.
